RE: Can dealers order specific models?

We ordered our Rockwood from the dealer, one dealer we went to had three in stock and still would have ordered one for us.

RE: CONCERTONE

When our monitor recently went out, we just used the kid's Polaroid LCD tv. Just used the bracket off the back of the monitor and plugged it into shore power. It has all the connections to use the Concertone plugs. Worked just fine till we got our replacement (still under warranty) They did send us a different unit, this one appears to be an actual tv as opposed to a monitor.

RE: Hotel Parking Lot

When we had our pop-up we didn't want to deal with setting up and breaking down if we had a destination so we would overnite at hotels on the way there and back.

RE: Warrenty Work

Our original dealer went out of business and another local dealer who doesn't carry Rockwoods but carries other Forest River products has been doing our warranty work.

RE: STUDY: RV VACATIONS ARE LEAST EXPENSIVE

They did a comparison recently in our paper and rving was the cheapest, about 1/3 the cost of flying and staying in a hotel and they hadn't even added in the cost of food.

RE: triple bunk bed in travel trailers

We have quad bunks, two doubles on one side and two singles on the other. One of the singles folds up for storage. We have two teens and they each like to sleep in an upper bunk so this works for them. They also like to bring friends along too.

Heat Tracing for water hose

Does anyone make heat tracing specifically for use with your water hose when camping at near freezing temps? If not, what are you using?

RE: Am I getting a line of bull here on warranty

Turned out we had a bad capacitor or diode (can't remember right now)in line to the monitor and it killed the monitor, the dealer probably wants to make sure the problem doesn't happen again. We had to bring our trailer back in to have them install the new monitor just to make sure the problem was fixed.

RE: warranty info?

We haven't had any problem getting our warranty work done at a dealer who sells Forest River products. He doesn't sell Rockwoods either. Our dealer went under last year so they aren't even an option.

RE: Dutch Counsin Campground - Denver, PA

We stayed there our first trip out with our pop-up. Very tight getting around even with a pop-up. There were new owners and they were doing quite a bit of work. That was '03. It had all the basics then, nothing fancy.

RE: Pinch Pond Family CG Lancaster Pa

We were at Pinch Pond last November, nothing special, unshaded sites in front, mostly seasonals in back. We were at Drummer Boy in July and had a wonderful time. Nice wooded site near the waterslide pool.
